‘Do Not Disturb’ is an original artwork created using soft pastels and pastel pencils on thick Pastelmat board. This work is professionally framed as shown with a 5cm mount board and slim matt black frame. The artwork without the frame is A4 sized.

The Hazel dormice population is in serious danger, numbers have fallen by 52% since 1995. The loss of their woodland and hedgerow habitats has led to populations becoming isolated and losing their genetic diversity. Traditional methods of coppicing which created ideal habitats is not widely practised any longer. Finally climate change has disrupted the dormice hibernation patterns which has led to starvation if awakening in Winter with no food source.
