‘The High Brown Fritillary Butterfly’ is an original artwork created using soft pastels and pastel pencils on thick Pastelmat board. This work is professionally framed as shown with a 10cm mount board and slim matt black frame.

Britain’s most endangered butterfly, the High Brown Fritillary has undergone a massive decline, strongholds stillremain on Morecambe Bay Limestones, Dartmoor, Exmoor and it is down to a single colony in Wales. Conservationists are working hard to stop this decline.
